- Connect your iPad 3.2.2 to your PC via USB
- Click on LimeRa1n droplet icon on your computer. This will sniff out your USB-connected iPad.
- Click on the ‘Make It Rain’ banner. This will prompt your iPad to enter into DFU mode.
- To enter into DFU mode, just follow these instructions on the LimeRa1n window;
- Hold down Home & Power buttons (ignore iTunes) until LimeRa1n instructs you to release the Power button
- This will make your iPad enter DFU mode

- Click on the LimeRa1n app icon (white rounded square) on your iPad. In LimeRa1n app, tick Cydia & click ‘Install’.
The only potential problems are if you install apps that have not been specifically designed to work with iOS. Some Cydia apps will cause your screen to look a little different, such as shrinking your dock. This is not a big deal and can be handled by simply restarting your device.
This jailbreaking method will enable the iPad 2 to use all the available features with unbounded restrictions. All have a similar process of action. First the iPad 2 need to be connected to the computer. Then all the data of the iPad 2 need to be backed up. It’s a very sad news that iPad 2 jailbreak will not be free. i0n1c won’t give out his jailbreak tool for free, he posted on Twitter.
