Lenovo brought their new ThinkPad tablet last month and it is their first tablet product. They have the potential to build good quality tablets and they have shown it through this product. Here are the pros and cons of this tablet.
Pros: -
The weight of this tablet is light as it is incredibly thin. It has the battery life of more than five hours. Screen of this ThinkPad is of high quality and you can write on this screen easily. The model has high-class tablet security and screen controls of the device are also good. It has 1GB of RAM and NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor that makes the device fast. The camera of this device is also good in comparison to a number of other devices available in the market at this time. You may not face any issue with front as well as back camera. This device comes with a stylus which can interact with screen. Software of this tablet is also excellent. Layered data encryption, Lenovo app shop etc. are extremely helpful. It is also loaded with anti-theft software. This software can track and locate your tablet. Furthermore you can also disable it.
Cons: -
Writing surface of this tablet is not as per the expectations. Some of the work on character recognition software is still not completed. It does not have FireWire ports as well as S-Video. Furthermore it is expensive due to which many people may prefer some other models. It can be bulky for some users.
By and large we can say that the tablet is solid and the material of this tablet is almost equal to iPad 2. Design is also high-class. It can be a good competitor of ASUS Transformer as well as other premium tablets available in the marketplace.
